The Gautrain has revolutionised public transport in Gauteng, enabling travellers to get from O.R Tambo International Airport to Sandton within 15 minutes, as well as cost-effective commuting between Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Zero Azania was responsible for bulk and restricted excavations, as well as tunnelling for the project.

According to Gautrain records, there are around 60,000 passenger trips each day, with this figure expected to increase to around 100,000 in the next few years.
